Our last stop was Cinque Terre, a string of 5 cities connected by trails. It was also beautiful in a different way, but has also turned into a complete tourist trap and 2 of the four trails connecting the cities were closed. We got around one trail closure by going 6 miles UP and DOWN the mountain (sorry Jenny!), and had to take the train to the last town. I enjoyed the beauty/hiking, but two days was definitely enough here. The highlight, which was a highlight of the entire trip, was a wine tasting/food pairing led by a family where the guy is just incredibly passionate about wine. It was hard to find, but very worth it. I had my first anchovies!
