Pirate Ship Dance Party (and DC scenes)

Last weekend I went to a pirate ship dance party. What’s that, you ask? So did I! Essentially my friend rented out a “pirate ship” and we drank, chatted, and (I at least) danced as we went up and down the potomac. I wasn’t planning to bring my camera, but Sam suggested (if I wanted to) I could test out what I learned at our Faces Not Places Photo Class. I am glad I did! The shots are some of my favorite, and it’s rare I get such great views of the iconic DC locations (e.g. lincoln memorial, memorial bridge, kennedy center). As I told folks, my priorities were 1) dancing, 2) photos, and 3) socializing. I am happy to report I did all three!
