Colorado Part 1: Bear Peak Trail

A few months ago, I headed out to Boulder and Ft. Collins for 9 days as my first “remote work from anywhere” experience. I worked from the hotel during the weekdays, and then got out and explored the trails and breweries during the weekends/weeknights. The first hike I chose was the Bear Peak Trail, described to me by locals as “moderate.” OH MY GOODNESS. That may have been the hardest hike I ever did – steep, rocky, and first day at altitude. Someone saw the struggle and tried to comment on how humid it was. I was like, “I am from DC, so no.” Thankfully, the views really paid off!
