Colorado Part 3: Greyrock Mountain Trail

After a few days in Boulder, I headed up to Ft. Collins. I had a half day for Labor Day, and unfortunately slept terribly and not long. I still ventured out for the Greyrock Mountain hike, which was well worth it but left me worn down. I didn’t even have the energy for a brewery after!

I was proud of myself for how much rock scrambling I was willing to do, but I cut it just a bit short because it seemed like a storm was rolling in (safety first!). Also, this was the first hike I encountered a rattlesnake. Thankfully, another group scared it right before I got there so I knew it was there and ran past it.
