At the end of June, I went to Las Vegas for a 3 day team retreat. Given I’ve been meaning to visit my friend Sam in Colorado and also was in between large vacations, I decided to take advantage of the 4th of July holiday and do a solo road trip through Utah and Colorado. I started with Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, where I had driven the scenic drive previously with my friend Katie and her young daughter. I was so happy I went back! Getting into the Canyon for some hiking was definitely a great (albeit HOOOOOT) way to start the trip. The textures, colors, and lack of clear hiking path (ha!) are unmatched. I had to tear myself away for the drive to St. George in the afternoon.
